I am a maker, a ponderer-wanderer type, performer, director, and arts administrator. I sing to connect to a past that is mine and a history of many. I write to reconcile the shade and the sun. I collaborate in a constant search for those who also feel the tug to be elsewhere.
artist statement.
I harness what’s exposed and sear it in the sun. I wait and watch until it burns, dries up, shines. And with my findings, I ask you to take part in the theatre with me. With whatever senses you want, spectate. Remind yourself that you too hold history that is yours and that is many. You too, can dismember what you once thought was true. So, for a moment, let’s call it theatre. Just for fun. Some serious, reverb of fun.
